Global creative agency PMG Worldwide selected K2 as their construction partner for their three-floor headquarters at the new Uptown office building, The Link. This is a high-profile project for PMG coming off of the heels of their workforce going fully remote in 2020 and more than doubling in size in 2021 – PMG leadership is utilizing the new workplace as a means to attract their hybrid workforce back to the physical office. Scope included the addition of a new open-air internal stair connecting all three floors. The office’s open concept facilitates the employee’s new hybrid work model. In addition to conference rooms, collab space, and huddle rooms, the office offers amenities including a coffee bar, video conferencing suites, a video production studio, training rooms, and an innovation studio.
George Popstefanov, founder & CEO of PMG, comments, “Our new space is all about creating a connected, energy-fueled experience—for our employees, our customers, and our partners. We’ve designed everything to represent our investment in shared experience and collaboration and our vision for innovation and growth. It’s a state-of-the-art employee and customer hospitality experience.”
David Danielson, President of K2 Construction, adds, “It was a privilege to work for a global organization that fully appreciates the impact a well-constructed and designed office has on its brand, culture, and client experience. From fabricating the Monument Café to executing the vision of the grand staircase, which included intricate glass handrails and custom millwork, building with perfect precision was essential to creating the energy-fueled experience PMG set out to achieve.”
