What is your favorite part of your job?

• You could give the same set of plans to 20 superintendents and each space would come out slightly different. The enormity of that is not lost on me and I know the importance of my role on each project. My job is always to think critically about the design and the client’s goals and build a space that exceeds expectations. The clients are everything and their happiness is my motivation.  

What excites you most about commercial real estate in Dallas?

• Growth. Dallas is one of the top markets for commercial real estate. We continue to grow every year, which means more opportunities and more unique challenges. I have spent my career in the DFW area and I do not see it slowing down anytime soon!    

If you could choose another profession, what would it be and why?

• Fishing guide. Being out on the water for me whether fishing or joy riding is just purely therapeutic. Not having a cell signal is a plus!

What’s something about you not many people know?

• I’m a fish nerd! I love African Cichlids. I have a 135-Gallon aquarium at home and I’d rather watch that instead of TV!

What is your proudest moment?

• Becoming a father. There’s nothing else on earth that amounts to that moment. I’m a proud father of four and would not trade it for the world.

Which tv show or movie could you watch over and over again?

• Top Gun and Maverick! Every since I was a kid, Top Gun has been one of my all time favorites. Something about flying at high speeds and landing on an aircraft carrier just blows my mind.

Biggest Jobsite Pet-Peeve?

• Housekeeping! A clean site is an organized site. An organized site is a safe and successful site. A successful site is a happy client.

Favorite Happy Hour Drink?

• Miller Lite.

• Dallas Cowboys
