Kim Edwards is the 2021 Hero of the Year

The Hero of the Year award is K2’s most noteworthy recognition presented every year at our annual retreat. It is peer-nominated and recognizes a person who exemplifies K2’s values (Integrity, Positivity, and Passion) and purpose (to “Be Their Hero”) day in and day out. Kim Edwards, 2021 Hero of the Year recipient, was described by her peers as someone who always steps up, gets the job done, and keeps the energy fun while doing it.

As an assistant project manager, Kim works closely with almost every entity in our business, both externally (clients, subcontractors, architects and third-party vendors) and internally (project managers, administration, superintendents) and she received over 33% of the votes, the highest number any one person has ever received.
