Repeat client Micron Technology selected K2 to renovate a 61,000-square-foot workplace spanning three floors within Richardson Innovation Quarter (The IQ®). Housing Micron’s North Texas Product Development team, the project features a first-floor IRC/Data Lab, a data center, laboratory space, full generator backup, and redundant HVAC and power systems designed to support the demands of a leading high-tech company. A complex exterior mechanical yard and distinctive finishes and branded environments throughout the facility further enhance both performance and the employee experience. Warm wood ceilings, textured architectural finishes, expansive glass walls, and vibrant accent colors create a modern environment that reflects Micron’s forward-thinking culture while maximizing natural light across the space.
