K2 Construction transformed a historic building – former home of the Federal Reserve Bank – into a state-of-the-art data center facility. Total build-out of the facility took place over seven phases. The data center includes:
- Over 130,000 sq. feet of raised computer floor
- Multi-Mega Watt utility feed in 2N redundant configuration
- 10 2MW generators
- 80,000 gallon reserve water tank installed in lower basement
- Seven 500T cooling towers
- Three-acre site with high security fencing
- Finish-out of Databank’s corporate offices
